Dr Natalia Rusnac

Natalia is a warm and empathetic psychologist, who is committed to helping people cope with adversity, achieve their goals and thrive. She aims to meet each person with non-judgmental acceptance, creating a safe space where her clients feel at ease to be themselves.

Experienced in a number of evidence-based therapy modalities (CBT, ACT, MI, CFT, DBT-informed), Natalia tailors her approach to the person’s needs to ensure that they are getting the most out of their sessions.

Natalia has a practical approach to therapy, helping her clients develop a ‘toolkit’ of personalised strategies and coping skills, so that they feel equipped to deal with life’s challenges. She aims to empower her clients by helping them recognise their existing strengths, as well as learn new psychological skills.

Natalia is fluent in English, French and Romanian. Having lived in three different countries, she enjoys working with people from a multitude of cultural backgrounds.

Counselling Experience

Natalia works with adults who experience a variety of difficulties. She has experience in a range of areas, including anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem difficulties, chronic illness, persistent pain, sleep difficulties, weight management etc.

Natalia has a special interest in supporting people overcome anxiety and self-esteem difficulties.

Natalia works mainly from from a CBT and ACT framework. She also enjoys incorporating motivational interviewing, DBT-informed and compassion-based interventions into the treatment. One of her strengths is her ability to provide evidence-based therapy techniques in a personalised, engaging and playful way.

Natalia has experience working in outpatient settings and in private practice.
