Dr Richard Hicks
I value interactions with others seeking help for a better life and better understanding of their own or others’ concerns. I like listening and responding in ways based on my experiences with many students, staff, members of the public, those with have career concerns, work-home life-balance issues, anxieties, and those dealing with trauma responses, grief and getting older ….
You can try me out over 1-2 sessions or more but my main intention is to help you deal with what are your current pains and also then help you towards a more positive life. I use different theoretical theories and suggestions to help, focusing mainly on positive psychology, CBT, self-compassion and more. I give practical things to do between sessions that are evidence -based and will help those keen to make a difference to their lives. I look forward to meeting you.
