Celeste Putter

Celeste is a registered Clinical psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency (AHPRA), a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and has a current Working with Children Check (WWCC). She comes with 20 years’ experience, working in a variety of settings which include employment, hospital, counselling, and education. She has experience working with individuals from all walks of life dealing with a broad range of issues. She is an enthusiastic psychologist hoping to positively influence the lives of those she works with. She believes in a collaborative, non-judgemental and client centred approach. She also bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

Celeste is the psychologist for you. Celeste has experience working with children and adolescents with emotional, behavioural, and psycho-social problems. Celeste’s experience also includes, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, stress, self-harming, self-regulation, grief and loss, self-esteem, coping and life adjustment and transition. Celeste is passionate about her clients becoming confident and resilient in the challenge of stressors they face.

Celeste has been trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ( CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. Celeste also has experience in, but not limited to solution focused, mindfulness, art, symbol, sand play, and play therapy. There is not a one style fits all, and Celeste is flexible with her therapy techniques and will work with you to find the best and most suited approach. This often includes blending various therapy techniques to best suit the client’s personal needs.
