Dr Elida Assenheimer
Elida has a GP background and has thirty years experience in psychology and psychotherapy practice. The foundations of her approach include principles of Frankel, Adler and Jung.
Elida works with adults and has a special interest in helping those who are struggling with depression, anxiety and OCD, grief and bereavement as we as end-of-life. She provides support for people living with Chronic illness, life transitions and coping with a stressful lifestyle. As she also trained in university teaching and learning her approach assists students, she utilises a range of evidence- based psychological treatments (including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, tailoring the intervention to best suit the client’s individual needs.
